Rosy, petal-soft, true rose-otto character, sweeter than synthetic citronellol.

What it is
Natural material from alcohol fraction isolated from geranium oil.
Where it comes from
mainly l-citronellol with geraniol
When you smell it
Heart: as it settles.
What perfumers do with it
Premium rose alcohol for rebuilding rose otto and refining rose and muguet bases.
Worth knowing
Perfumers rate it the single material closest to rose otto; many cheaper 'rhodinols' are simply citronellol blends.
