Natural oil from steam-distilled dried grass.

India, Nepal

What perfumers do with it
Inexpensive rosy heart; builds rose, geranium and carnation accords; natural geraniol source.
Worth knowing
Once shipped via Constantinople to cut Turkish rose oil, which earned it the misleading name 'Turkish geranium oil'.

Limited. Mostly geraniol, so capped by IFRA's geraniol limit
