Warm, sweet nutmeg with fresh terpenic, peppery-woody facets.

What it is
Natural oil from dried seeds of Myristica fragrans.
Where it comes from
Indonesia, Grenada, Sri Lanka
When you smell it
Heart: as it settles.
What perfumers do with it
Adds warm spice to fougères, masculine orientals and woody accords.
Worth knowing
In 1667 the Dutch kept the tiny nutmeg island of Run and let England keep Manhattan.
