Fennel seed oil

Sweet anise-licorice with a fresh, earthy-green, peppery facet.

What it is: Natural oil from seeds of Foeniculum vulgare.
Where it comes from: Spain, Hungary, Egypt
When you smell it: Top notes: when you spray it.
What perfumers do with it: Adds fresh aniseed lift to fougères, aromatic colognes and licorice accords.
Rules: Limited. Limited through estragole content (IFRA 51st Amendment).
