Niche perfumes from Istanbul, sold mostly as strong extraits; Hacivat, a sharp pineapple-and-oakmoss scent from 2017, is its best seller.

Murat Katran, a steel export manager who discovered oud on trips to the Gulf, and hotelier Mert Güzel founded Nishane in Istanbul in 2012 with their own money. It now sells worldwide and projects $150–200 million in 2026 revenue.
