Italian fashion house famous for its camel coats; its perfume line began again in 2026 with Le Parfum, made by Shiseido.
Achille Maramotti founded Max Mara in Reggio Emilia in 1951 to make ready-to-wear clothes for women; the camel coat became its emblem. His family still owns it. Shiseido makes its perfumes, starting again with Le Parfum in 2026.
