A German menswear house whose perfumes, made by Coty, are led by Boss Bottled (1998), the men’s scent its later launches build on.
Hugo Ferdinand Boss started a clothing factory in Metzingen, Germany, in 1924; after his death in 1948 the firm turned to men’s suits. It granted its first perfume licence in 1984. Coty has made the perfumes since 2016, and Frasers Group now holds about 48%.
