Perfumes made in its own workshops by the Paris harness-maker turned leather-goods house; Terre d'Hermès (2006), orange and woods, is its best known.

Thierry Hermès opened a harness workshop in Paris in 1837. The house sold its first perfume, Eau d'Hermès, in 1951; Christine Nagel has created its perfumes since 2016, and the founder's descendants still control the company.
