Minimal perfumes built around single lab-made molecules; Molecule 01, pure Iso E Super that melds with skin, is the one people know.
Perfumer Geza Schoen and designer Paul White founded Escentric Molecules in London in 2006, bottling the first few thousand bottles themselves; its first scent, Molecule 01, was Iso E Super alone. It is still independent, and Schoen still makes its perfumes himself.
