Fresh, tailored perfumes sold on a royal-tailor story; Aventus, pineapple over smoky birch since 2010, is the one most people know.
Creed says James Henry Creed founded it in London in 1760 as a tailor to the royal court; seven generations on, it makes perfume near Fontainebleau. L'Oréal has owned it since 2026. Trade press names its best-known perfume among the luxury hits that lower-priced brands copy.
