Spare, mostly genderless perfumes from Stockholm built on its founder's memories; Mojave Ghost, Gypsy Water and Bal d'Afrique are the best known.
Ben Gorham founded Byredo in Stockholm in 2006, naming it for 'by redolence'. It sold home scents first and launched its own perfumes in 2008. Puig has owned all of it since 2024; Gorham left in 2025.

Puig, which bought control in 2022 and the rest in 2024. Byredo makes its own perfumes. Checked September 2026.
