Scents from the British trench-coat maker, now made by Coty; Burberry Goddess, a 2023 vanilla perfume, was a record launch.
Thomas Burberry, a 21-year-old former draper's apprentice, opened his shop in Basingstoke, England, in 1856 and introduced gabardine in 1879. Its first perfume came in 1981; Coty has made the perfumes since 2017.
