Low-priced scented body care and body mists from an American mall chain, sold in hundreds of scents; best known for Japanese Cherry Blossom.
Bath & Body Works began in 1990 as a beauty line of The Limited's Express chain; its first shop opened in a mall in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Since 2021 its parent company carries its name, and it launches some 200 new scents a year. Glossy reports that TikTok and Reddit users have compared its Everyday Luxuries mists of 2024 with popular high-end perfumes; the company speaks of 'the inspiration from a luxury idea'.
Owned by
Bath & Body Works, Inc., a listed company; until 2021 it was called L Brands. It makes its own perfumes. Checked October 2026.
